Description
It is characterised by excellent adhesion to typical building substrates: plaster, brick, concrete, wood. Compared to traditional adhesive mortars, it dries much faster and adheres more firmly to the substrate.
This allows the thermal insulation to be fixed more securely and quickly.
It also eliminates the need to use dusty mortars, mix them with water, mix them and transport them to the scaffolding. Foam adhesive is efficient, easy to use and easy to store and transport. Its use saves time and money.
How to use:
- Shake the container 20-30 times to homogenize the content
- Screw the container onto the application gun
- Apply the polystyrene glue a braid with a diameter of about 3 cm onto a polystyrene board around the perimeter with a distance of about 2 cm from its edge and one strip along the middle of the board
- You should leave 5 cm gaps in the braids
Immediately after gluing the board to the wall, it is recommended to correct the setting with the use of a mounting rod. The position of the boards can be corrected up to 10 minutes after their application to the wall. If work is carried out in unfavorable conditions, such as strong wind or rain, it is absolutely necessary to use the scaffolding net and use supports at the corners until the adhesive sets (about 10 minutes). After 2 hours, the boards are ready for further processing. It is required to reinforce the glued polystyrene boards with a mechanical fastener, e.g. pins.
NOTE!
- Work should be carried out at a temperature between 0°C and + 30°C
- The temperature of the container should be at least +20°C < li>Fix insulation boards to the substrate with mechanical fasteners, especially for large and high surfaces
Usage
- For instant installation of insulation boards made of polystyrene (both traditional and extruded boards) in thermal insulation systems using the 'light wet' method
