Description

Acrylic is a plastic-elastic all-purpose sealant used for filling cracks, scratches and fissures in masonry and for bonding structural and building components. It is characterised by good adhesion to typical building materials, i.e. concrete, plaster, brick, wood, plasterboard. For this reason, it is used for durable, flexible bonding of drywall elements and sealing of gaps around doors and windows, repairing wall and ceiling surfaces. Acrylic is virtually odourless and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It is resistant to temperature fluctuations, UV radiation and the effects of moisture. Once fully cured, acrylic can be painted.
Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and grease before application. Before use, cut off the tip of the tube and screw on the applicator by cutting it to the desired joint thickness. Squeeze out the compound using a suitable gun. The applied sealant can be smoothed with a spatula or other tool wet with water.
