Description
Silicone has very good adhesion to non-absorbent materials commonly used in construction, such as ceramic tiles (glaze, terracotta, stoneware, clinker), glass and porcelain, faience and enamel elements. Silicone can also be used on surfaces with a strongly adhering paint coating and on metal surfaces protected against corrosion, but this type of application (as well as on other unusual surfaces) should be preceded by an adhesion test.
How to use and prepare the substrate:
- Surfaces should be clean, dry, free from dust, dust and grease
- Before use, cut the end of the tube and screw the applicator to cut it to the appropriate thickness of the joint
- Squeeze the mass using a suitable gun
- The applied sealant can be smoothed with a spatula or other tool moistened with a soapy water solution or other similar agent
